Six Ebonyi State Youths To Be Trained On Horticulture

His Excellency, the executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. Dave Umahi, has approved the training of six Ebonyi Youths on horticulture. This is in line with his promise to empower as many Ebonyians as possible to become self reliant, thereby reducing poverty and increasing the standard of living in the State.

Sequel to this, the Ministry of Economic Empowerment and Job Creation has conducted a rigorous interview to choose the six Youths, two from each of the three senatorial zone.

The objective of this program is to give the beneficiaries the skills on horticultural enterprise, making them self-employable or employable by the government, estate developers, landscapers and environmental beautification experts. The beneficiaries will also have the opportunity to come on board the State Government's team who are beatifying the State capital according to the high taste of the Governor.

More updates on this program will come soon...
